2007 World Series of Poker will be a little bigger

This year (2007)Â the world’s biggest poker event will be a little bigger, thanks to the additions of the 9 new Poker Tournaments.

55 Events for 2007 World Series of Poker

The World Series of Poker will run with 55 events instead of last year’s 46, and quite a few new items are on the menu. H.O.R.S.E. is back, but in addition to the $50,000 event there will be a $5,000 and a $2,500 event as well.

One Poker Tournament that will likely get a lot of attention will be the $5,000 Heads-Up No Limit Holdem World Championship. The Main Event will still be a No Limit Texas Holdem tournament with a $10,000 buy in.
