Barack Obama strongly supports the internet
President-elect Barack Obama and his advisers have established a website at change.gov listing the plans and goals for governing after Obama’s inauguration. Among the ideas featured on the website is a pledge to protect the internet from censorship and government interference.
Detailing Obama’s goals and plans, the website says: *A key reason the internet has been such a success is because it is the most open network in history. It needs to stay that way. Barack Obama strongly supports the principle of network neutrality to preserve the benefits of open competition on the internet.*
Lots of legislation is expected to resurface with the start of the new Congress in January as some seek to undo the online gambling ban or at least regulate.
This is very good news for online casino games, their players and online gambling prospects in the US.
