New poker network named Cereus
The owner of both Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet, has combined the two networks on a single new poker network named Cereus. The company promised that the new poker network will give players more action, more tournaments, and faster-growing bad-beat jackpots. The change also promises the best security to protect its poker players, something both sites have had trouble with in recent years.
Cereus is owned and operated by Tokwiro Enterprises, who owns both Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker. Cereus is licensed and regulated by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.
With players from both online poker sites playing together at the same tables and in the same tournaments, Cereus has instantly become one of the top three largest online poker communities, nipping at the heels of number two Full Tilt Poker.
Other features of the new ‘Cereus’ software packages include the ability for players at final tables to make deals, lobby filters allowing the player to show only certain games or stakes, and an instant replay feature for hands.
