Caribbean Casino and Gaming Corporation has announced that it is taking steps in preparation for legalized iGaming in the US. The casino operator announced its retention of the Catania Gaming Consultants as its advisor while waiting for the possibility that one of the biggest potential markets in the world will open its doors to iGaming. Currently however, the Caribbean Casino and Gaming Corporation is operating in other lucrative sites including the Dominican Republic's Sosua Bay Grand Casino. The particular gaming establishment is based in Bradenton, Florida and has Texas Hold'em tables, roulette, and a total of 82 slot machines, which are usually the biggest earners when it comes to gaming. According to the land-based casino operator, Catania Gaming Consultants will assist when it comes to the fast changing environment in online gaming, in case virtual gaming will finally become a widely accepted and legalized activity for an already prime market.
The role of Catania Gaming Consultants The Catania Gaming Consultants is led by Frank Catania, an attorney with much experience when it comes to gaming issues. He has once lent his expertise to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and Players International. Catania also worked as a Deputy Speaker for the New Jersey General Assembly. The Caribbean Casino and Gaming Corporation is pleased with its one of many futuristic steps, with its Chief Executive Officer commenting that Catania would offer the knowledge to build business models focused on the United States market. "Potentially adding the United States to our list of licensed countries we work within will obviously take us to the next step, once again," added Mr. Steven Swank, CEO of Caribbean Casino and Gaming Corporation.
Gaming situation in the US The country is currently in the throes of mixed ideas with regard to online gaming. Senator Raymond Lesniak is still in on the fight against the Federal law limiting legalized sports gambling to specific locations in the country including Delaware, Montana, Oregon, and Nevada. It has been revealed that the New Jersey senator already asked the state's Governor to file a lawsuit against the said Federal law. He believes that the law violates interstate commerce, commenting that the Congress breached the Constitution of the United States of America. New Jersey is actually hoping to bring sports betting in the state, with Lesniak believing that other states will cooperate once a formal complaint has been made. Those who are in favor of the venture hope that sports betting will boost Atlantic City casino visitors. Some experts have estimated a total of $380 billion per year as the profits generated through illegal sports betting. To this, Lesniak commented, "Let's put it to good use," adding that sports betting is something that really happens today.
